This is an original pulled paper print from a photopolymer plate using Graphic Chemical bone black 514C oil ink and color specific Akua Intaglio Ink with Derivan Liquid Pencil for the color on the Arnhem 1618 100% rag printmaking paper. This is a single pulled Print of a two-plate run through the press on 12×18 (12.7cm x 17.8cm) paper. The plate was created by a reversal film (Mylar) overlay in UV light to record the image on the plate and inked for the first run under the press. Then the same plate was directly hand painted on for this process and then run through the press for a second time on the same paper print. The art used was hand drawn on paper first then scanned into Adobe Illustrator for sizing and creating the Mylar Positive from a prepress printer using to create the etching plate. The drawing is a robot, yes, but the head is actually a Voightlander TLR 120 Film Camera as the model for the drawing, and the rest is imaginative robot parts. This is a true Monotype Print, meaning a singular print and not an edition. The Plate has been retired.
