This is an original pulled paper print from a photopolymer plate using Graphic Chemical bone black 514C oil ink for the black and a single color specific Akua Intaglio Ink for the color on Arnhem 1618 100% rag printmaking paper. This is a single pulled print of a two-plate run through the press on 12×18 (30.48cm x 45.72cm) paper. The first plate was created by a reversal film overlay in UV light to record the image on the plate. The second plate was created by embedding a scrim fabric overlay on the plate. Both plates were then inked for the required run twice under the press for this process. The art created was the etched scrim cloth first, and the overlay a created digital drawing in Adobe Illustrator on the second plate overtop in this process to make this single print. This is a true Monotype Print, a singular print and not an edition. Plates have been retired.
